BREW
BREW is an application development platform created by QUALCOMM INC for mobile phones. It is air-interface independent, i.e. it can support not only CDMA2000, but also GSM/GPRS, UMTS.
Been adopted for mobile phones in all over the world it is not only raising position as an application platform but also getting acknowledged as OS.
In ZERO-SUMTM, its own tools and the library, etc. are developed by application program development and embedded software development from BREW genesis, based on past records and based on high quality development results is capable in satisfying client's demand.
In January 2001, QUALCOMM INC. announced an application program development execution environment that absorbs the difference of OS of different cellular phones. Helped in developing application program in the C/C++ language, and also have the application program delivery and the billing system.
KDDI started BREW service by the name of EZ appli in Japan from February, 2003.
In 31 countries, 69 telecommunications providers and 44 cellular phone manufacturers have decided to introduce or adopt BREW, and it's getting popular rapidly all over the world.
